Hey, it’s great to see you here.

It’s hard to sum up my life and experience into a couple paragraphs, but I promise I’m a person under all of these things with challenges and changes like we all face. I look forward to getting to meet you and hope we can share some space together to work on your best self.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience in mental health both on Active Duty in the United States Navy and in the Federal Civil Service. I most recently worked as the Supervisory Social Worker at the United States Agency for International Development, overseeing therapy services for our staff serving and living around the globe.

I specialize in treating severe anxiety disorders, mood disorders and post-traumatic stress with cognitive behavioral therapy modalities and mindfulness based practices. I enjoy working with diverse, multicultural clients in building goals towards improved wellness, and better managing stress through mindfulness-based, holistic lifestyle practices.

I have additional experience in medical social work, residential substance treatment and aviation medicine for the United States Navy and Marine Corps. I’ve also worked as an Equal Opportunity Officer for the United States Navy and a Transition Assistance Officer for service members undergoing gender affirmation surgery. In my previous roles, I’ve provided supervision to graduate students and post graduate Associate Social Workers as the Graduate Medical Education Supervisory Social Worker and the Chief of Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.

When I’m not working, I like to spend my time working out, working on my yard, or working on annoying my family with outdoor activities. I’m an avid hiker, IG obsessed foodie, and love to spend time out on the river paddleboarding on a sunny day. I have a love for all things travel, but I still find time for Netflix on the sofa with my friends.
